I am a strong fan of the original series, having watched every episode at least twice, thanks to our local PBS station having rebroadcast them. I now have the CD’s for all 6 years also. For me, the movie was a joyful reunion with a cast of old friends. Was it frosting on one of my favorite “puddings” of all time? Yes, absolutely! I know I will down the extra calories again in the years to come. If I need hospice in my last days, it must be with reruns of the series and the movie, and I will die a happy man!
