An excellent way to bring together eight years of story. Without spoiling it, the climax is shamelessly dramatic and character-driven in the way I've come to except from Final Fantasy. Your character is part of the action and you feel invested in the other characters that come with you through this journey, because they've been alongside you since the very first cutscene back in FFXIV: ARR. As expected, the writing from Natsuko Ishikawa is excellent and the direction from YoshiP can't be beat.
