A really poor pastiche at all levels. Quite clearly set in America. The architecture was all wrong, the phone and the sound it made were wrong, and even the nighttime sounds in the garden are sounds you would definitely not hear in an English country garden. The acting and production were poor and largely missed on all levels. Clearly, this was produced for an American home audience, whom it was assumed by the producers knew no better, if indeed they did themselves. A truly terrible piece of television.
