Linda Lewendon

I was surprisingly quite intrigued throughout this story. Brandreth captures the language and behaviours within society in the late 1800’s. Interesting narration by Robert Sherrard. This novel would also appeal to those interested in Oscar Wilde, the person and Arthur Conan Doyle (Sherlock Holmes). I shall definitely read another Brandreth book.

Enjoyed reading it - gained a real ‘feel’ for London and the era. I feel there is some truth to the comments by others that the ending is a little too fast and convenient.
