As a massive pre Clone Wars fan (Old Republic, High Republic etc) I really wanted to get into this show. Some of the characters are/were great, and it would've been great if the 'jedi investigation' component of the show was the main plot point. A jedi and their apprentice tracking down an 'acolyte' who's killing jedi connected to something larger... sounds cool, right? Instead, we get this half-baked and poorly written show that tries to make out jedi to be either incompetent or the bad guys. It overcomplicates things and creates meaningless motives to drive the plot around in pretzels. Wasting two episodes on flashbacks was insane for an eight-episode series. Not sure how they waste so much money on each episode when it only takes place across about four destinations. Apart from the lightsaber choreography, I'd give this a miss.
