Terry Clemens – Google

This film is awesome! I love the original version, I’ve watched it many times, and I was critical of how Frank Herbert’s books could possibly be improved upon. This adaptation doesn’t shy away from repeating the first film, but instead presents it in a more fulfilled way. Of course, back then, films were handcuffed to 90 minutes at most, Hollywood had yet to cotton on to the concept of of a longer film experience. If you love sci-fi, do yourself a favor and watch this, it’s two-plus hours of enjoyment!

I just read, in one review of The Outer Worlds, that the voice acting is great. Personally, I think it's the game's downfall. I'm not very far into the game yet, but I do find myself wishing that Obsidian had skipped the voiceovers for this game and returned to the days of printed dialogue, because the script is very well written. A bit disappointing, but not enough to make me stop playing what is otherwise a very enjoyable game.
