I think it is on the top 5 best godzilla movies ever, I've seen them all, at least 5 times each, and this one definitely has the best plot. Now godzilla might not show up as much as the Hollywood movies, but you get a lot of him at one time. The acting also makes up for it, at some times getting little to over the top on acting. Godzillas breath was peak and amazing cgi for 15 mil. It shows what the original 1954 godzilla was and remade it for us today. Subtitles might be hard for some people to read but for a godzilla watcher that watched them all with subtitles, this is definitely slower subtitles compared to other godzilla movies if not just other japanese movies and shows. Best movie of the year. Can not wait to get my hands on the blu ray. Edit: Just saw it again and it definitely submitted my feelings about the movie.
