I'd heard how good this series was, but due to adverse circumstances, was never able to watch it. Until now. I am pleased to say it is as brilliant as I thought it would be!!

I first watched Threads some years after it was shown on tv. Talk about the living envying the dead! The best distance to be from a nuclear explosion is 93 million miles away.

I've always thought that is one of the more overlooked films of Sir Ridley's. It is still excellent,however; having the right blend of political,religous intrigue, folly, love- and quite a bit of carnage as well!
