As the show began, the three main characters mesh well and the storyline kept you engaged, only to have somewhere around the 2nd and 3rd season, it changed and even some of the story lines were... mismanaged. What happened to Ben's girlfriend? Did he ever come to terms with the Jin? There are far too many questions that need answered before u cancel it, which, by the way the writing was going, was just inevitable.

I gave it 2 stars, cuz this must be what it's like to be a side kick, and if that's what they were going for, they nailed it. Parappa the rapper held the title for most hated game for 20+ years, then Watch Dogs....now this tripe. There is no combo system, but instead replaced by "abilities" which comes with a meter u have to fill by button mashing only to hit them a punch at a time while trying to dodge others. There is no auto-tracking system for ur batarangs and the button placement is like a dyslexic toddler was in charge. At this point I'm only playing it cuz I paid $75. How did it ever get past the testers?

Think of DC movies. Now apply that to Mortal Kombat 2021. There is no substance to this movie. The only backstory is that of scorpion and sub-zero. Kano's "comic relief" is forced and annoying. There could have been a tie-in that Cole is really Takeda. Where is Quan Chi? This whole movie is about as climactic as Nascar. In my opinion, ANYONE who tells you this movie is better than it really is, is not a franchise fan. Mortal Kombat has been around for 30 + years and this is what the writers came up with?
