Clearly people love this film or hate it. Firstly a genuinely brilliant performance by Adam Sandler and secondly I am of course (1 star) in the hate it camp. Every film does not have to have a happy ending or a moral message but I just found this depressing with no redeeming features. It shows almost everything that is bad about humanity and as importantly, what is bad about "man" kind ie men. Perhaps there is a redeeming feature and that is for the whole cesspit of human frailties that are on show throughout, there is no happy ending. (maybe I should change my stars!)
