good show. It's not your typical anthropomorphic animal franchise (E.G. Arthur's name isn't Arthur Aardvark it's Arthur Read he has a normal last name just like you and me) that's not necessarily a bad thing, just different) and it's geared towards a slightly older audience like I wouldn't say the show is for pre-schoolers it's probably for like 3rd graders onward's. the other characters are all well written and when they have a starring episode usually they are interesting. If you are a grown-up and watch this show for the first time you will probably be hooked. That's the unique thing that makes Arthur stand out, whether you are an elementary student or an adult the Arthur stories will be enthralling. At the end there may be a "which Arthur character are you" segment I think I am a combination of Arthur and Buster. (also I find it ironic that Arthur has a pet dog Pal and his friend Binky is a dog lol)

well I read the book and watched the movie. they are both good stories but they aren't exactly the same. You could say that the movie was an original story and not actually based on the the book and you wouldn't be entirely wrong. Theo,Flora Baumbach,and Madame Hoo aren't in the film and Denton Deere's role from the book is replaced in this film by the lawyer who read the will in the book Ed Plum. there are minor differences like Mr. Hoo's first name is "George" in this film not "James" and Sam Westing's middle name doesn't start with a W and Crow's full name is Erica Berthe Crow instead of Berthe Erica crow. Sandy Mcsouthers in the book was depicted as a friend to turtle but in the film he was like that cold eerie character who intimidates everyone. I don't like how Theo wasn't in the film,he was my favorite character and so essential to the story. all his roles were played out by Turtle and Chris. Chris' full name is Christopher not Christos like in the book and he's into computers not birds. If i went into all the differences we'd be here all day. In short this film is not a very true adaptation to the book but still a good story on its own.

this is such a good/underrated show. I love it. It's like one of those those shows that makes absolute no sense. It's about a toddler named Pocoyo (possibly an alien because he is shown living on a planet called Pocoyo world instead of on earth) and his friends including Pato a duck who can split his body apart and rotate his beak 360 degrees,Elly a pink elephant who has a backpack and a doll and many more. This along with veggietales,Thomas and friends and pre-HBO Sesame Street are my favorite shows of all time. because it doesn't make any sense that makes it better.
