Heather Thompson

A superb watch and all credit to Bradley Cooper who has gone from being the pretty boy to being a brilliant actor of depth and a talented director. I wasn't a fan of A Star is Born and thought it was overrated but this is a whole different ball game! Carey Mulligan was magnificent as Felicia and possible her best performance to date (and that's saying something) and her last scenes were heartbreaking. This film won't be for everyone but to those who are looking for something different from a lot of the banal fare out there, and the endless sequels and prequels, check it out.
