Broken Youth

Knowing little about queen Victoria, I feel like there should’ve been more history going on in the movie besides her reign at the young age of 18. There should have been more to the movie than it could have. It doesn’t tell much detail in the movie on why the family had feuds over capitalism and totalitarianism. For instance in the first scene it just skips to why the queen Victoria was locked up most of the time and her mother not letting her do what she wanted to do. I feel like Emily Blunt could have had a better role in this movie and they could have had her do so much more as Queen Victoria
