Fun movie to watch, terrible movie to enjoy. Great visuals and destruction, at often times beautiful and awe inspiring shots. Followed by what feels like the most rushed and miss-paced movie in a long time. Incredible acting but it can't make up for the weird pacing. That being said the movie looks great and is just a good movie to watch if you wanna see some destruction. Some of the deaths also felt like they existed for pure shock value, rather then adding anything of value to the story. That specifically was a turn off, and I grew up on 2012 and other disaster films. So that's saying something.
