It's by no means a bad show. It revels in its freakiness, the awkwardness of teenage boys and shopping malls, and above all, gross-out humor. Since everything's done with puppets, the gross-out is tamer than some cartoons, but the freakiness is at least ten times freakier.

Oh how these actors could express emotions with just their hands. They talked in 3rd person and sang the best songs. Oobi was by far my favorite kid show when I first let my daughter start watching TV. I looked forward to our daily Oobi fix, and when my daughter started to lose interest, I practically forced her to watch it. Looking back I really miss Noggin and all the great shows it had to offer.
