Looks good but the script and plot is poor.
SPOILER ALERT!
A world class professional assassin who gets married and has a child? He's got a secret room in his house that's found in minutes, a brother in law who gets into it with an angle grinder then tells his sister he can fix it! He gets a flight to Estonia and the two British agents hunting him just happen to be on the same plane and in the seats in front of him so he can hear them discussing their plans.
Very lazy writing I think.

Dissapointed after looking forward to it.Its a decent enough game - very similar but bigger than the Outer Worlds - but for me the repeated "cut and paste" buildings on all the planets and moons become boring after a while - all the loot, enemies etc are in EXACTLY the same places as in other parts of the galaxy, so you know where everything is before you even enter a location - fine for farming a place or enemies for items to sell but due to the repetitiveness not interesting at all and becomes Starfields equivalent to Elite Dangerous' "Grind". I'm hoping updates in 2024 and decent mods on Steam / Creation Club will rescue it.I've dropped it for now and will be playing Cyberpunk and Dead Space to pass the time while I'm waiting for some sort of fix.

Struggling to stick with it, seems to be aimed at a young audience.Stereotype mini Scots wanting to drink, fight and steal most of the time is not all that funny.Lacking the wit and variety of the early Discworld books.

It seemed dated, I would have probably enjoyed it a lot more if I'd read it when it first came out, but for me it had too many boring passages and I found myself skipping through pages - an indicator to me that it's not holding my attention.Some interesting ideas though but for me an average read.

Disappointed honestly, it started off as a quite interesting story with decent writing but it just didn't grab me in way that I expected an Arthur C Clarke award nomination to.I found it to be boring in parts with only one or two parts where I really wanted to know what happens next. To me it seemed "Star Warsy" - shallow characters and slightly boring plot.Ive got "A Closed and Common Orbit" and will be starting that after I've finished my current sci-fi read the excellent Ian M Banks' "Excession".I do hope its a better read.
