I have read all the 14 books of the series. First 11 books were written by Robert Jordan and after he passed away, last 3 books were completed by someone whom he choose to complete, after he passes away. I am watching 2nd season now and so far, I am very disappointed. The TV series makers have changed story immensely, I am not sure If they are doing it to shorten the story so that they can complete it in a certain number of seasons. The story in the books is amazing. Every character in the book so beautifully described and brings them to life and you would fall in love with the characters dependingon on what you like. I would suggest people to read the books first. Being said I am still gonna watch the series as I am fantasy fiction buff and probably would consider this as a different series 😅
