Don’t let anyone explain this movie to you. You’ll want to know nothing going in. The movie didn’t get a wide release. Don’t look at box office gross when deciding to watch Freaks. You’ll be happily confused while watching. Figuring things out is part of the fun. Acting, story, and effects are worthy. Don’t let this one slip by you. If you like movies that bait you with figuring out what’s really going on, good. The movie has a quality of putting the audience in the dark while pointing a dim flashlight at clues and “maybes”. Trust the story, enjoy the odd, have some fun.
