The movie was very realistic, The couple of poor reviews were written by idiots who don't understand squat about the military and the bond that is created between the troops and/or for that matter the canines who provide advanced warning of the rotten terrorists who think nothing of blowing up innocent civilians in the cowardly act of IEDs which destroy and kill indiscriminately. I don't know where their collective heads were but those writing a lousy review need to look in a hole to find where their brains have disappeared to. Great and realistic portrayal by the entire cast. Being a retired Jarhead the treatment of Meagan was just about as accurate as most Marines would attest.
