I really liked this show, great production value, scenery, sets, costumes, acting and story line. However, I was disappointed by the last season finale. IMHO the series went out with a whimper, not a bang. Ending was too packaged, too happy, with obvious loose ends unresolved. Other historical dramatizations have done a better job with their endings. But congrats to the cast for a great job, they really brought the 17th siècle in France to life!

Loved it. Of course it helps to have a love of cars and dogs. I knew the Dreyfus brothers of Bugatti racing fame. Denny’s first car not unlike my first one (mine was a little older, BMW 2002tii). And my first dog was a Golden Lab. I just never knew the Rainbow Bridge ended in Mongolia.
