The acting from both actors made you see this very thoughtful love between the two that made every seen powerful even at end. Both violet and finch were struggling through their own mental battles which made the ending that much more powerful. The ending isn’t ideal for the viewer spoiler warning because suicide overcame finch. It not ideal because you think they saved each other from that yet suicidal thought can go beyond the help of others. Even through this sad ending violet walks away changed and for better. Her memories of finch are happy and even at the water hole she find comfort and peace like when she was with finch
