When watching a tv show I watched as a child I was very excited to see the live action version of a fan favorite animation, but what we get is a bland epilogue saturated tv show where the characters feel like the don’t like each other or don’t care at all to get to know each other. Anng spends very little time with the group, the characters are quite annoying and the only one that looks similar to the source material is sokka. Aang spends little to know time trying to learn anything about the other 3 elements and uses the past avatars to do any major fight. I don’t hate it because it’s different then the story, it’s just a different story in general, the only similarity I can see is that there is a boy who’s named Aang he is an avatar and he’s with a group of people named sokka and katara. Appa is a fan favorite and yet they use him and momo very little, only at the beginning it seems.
