General baseline good self improvement advice throughout but very repetitive. That can be a good thing to help ingrain the overall purpose. It’s still too redundant. So many of the chapters will seem promising with different titles; only for it to be the same as the previous chapter with one paragraph of new commentary. I really dislike the concept of “Source Energy” and “Big Snooze”. Despite these terms, I’m still able to get the general idea but it’s just very delusional. The idea that you have to believe in something spiritual to escape your depressive rut feels sketchy and not based in much since there’s nothing to back anything up in the book. The whole book feels like the author is trying to convince me to join a cult for the god “Source Energy”. The opening of the book weirdly bashes other psychology/self help books and makes a statement that this book is different. When you go to the back of the book, all her “research” sources are solely other well known self help books.
