What a great movie!!! Since I was young I was drawn to the movie Chariots Of Fire. The story of Eric Liddel and his desire to be fast and obedient to God. He was in inspiration for me to glorify God in all I do, but more importantly to keep God where he belongs, on the throne! Coming to the end of my 32 year military career witnessing first hand those who pay the ultimate sacrifice. I have come to realize the real mission is the great commission. This movie show how Eric understood the urgency to share the gospel in China during WWII. He ended up paying the ultimate sacrifice for the most worthy cause, the gospel. He is no fool who gives that which he cannot keep to gain that which he cannot lose.
