Star Bird

The characters match what I expected reading the Patterson Cross books. They do a good job of trying to combine everything into the series. The story line keeps stringing you along. The characters are what makes the show for me. Just when I thought there were no good series to watch on fall tv Cross arrived.

The show is amazing in that it shares a lot of Ivan Sanderson’s research. The cast has a variety of amazing experience from FBI, to animal behaviouralists. The only cast I don’t think brings much to the show is Brittany! looking up her bio online is says she is a crypto zoologist and ufo ologist and does photograpy with no real education in zoology or anything valuable it’s just titles anyone can carry. All she seems to do is make assumptions, get in the way of the others, and draw pictures. Take her off the cast and the show would do much better. Justin and Troy make the show good. They are realistic in their approach and appear to have a good understanding in regards to animal behaviour. Unlike Brittany who seems to find proof of a cryptid in everything. She is definitely seeing what she wants and not using fact like the rest.

Seems like every little thing they find they try and force it to fit their narrative. On episode 4 and not much substantial has happened. And the small discoveries they have made are that they “may have” been from a German u boat. So far quite slow
