The side characters sold the show to me way more than the main ones. I believe that younger Rile and Lily captured the abuse much better than the older versions. Blake's 'flower' outfits alone confused me in comparison to everyone else's. Most times she looked very emasculating next to Justin which confused me because she's supposed to be kind of meek. When the movie ended I was left disappointed. I didn't capture much emotion. The only moment I did was when her friend was confiding to her in the flower shop how her brother died. Wtf was that rooftop scene anyways? It felt so inorganic.
