Ok, firstly I just wanted to say, don't watch after GGO, Its honestly disappointing. SAO season 1 starts of strong pulling you in but I feel like it's completely rushed. After the first floor was cleared, the game suddenly jumps forward way too fast. For a 24 episode anime, at least make the fight seems longer. The next issue is that Kirito has a pointless harem with a bunch of useless irrelevant girls. The character development is way to fast. Kirito and Asunas relationship jumps way too fast. In summary SAO is basically a plot that ended to fast so they decided to throw in some irrelevant plots to try and keep you interesting. Notice how the third season only has 12 episodes. I just noticed the other reviews and I'm honestly disgusted. From person that's watched 50+ isekai animes SAO isn't good. HERE ARE MY RECOMMENDATIONS Rising of the shield hero. This actually has an interesting plot That time I got reincranated as a slime. Don't get discouraged by its name. Nothing is really taken seriously so I find it as a good comedy isekai anime. Konosuba. Best isekai comedy anime in my opinion Overlord. Epic fights JUST SOMETHING TOTALLY UNRELATED: CLASSROOM OF THE ELITES. PLEASE TRY. You might hate it or love it.

[9 out 10] Regardless of your thoughts on the plot, I have to say that the animation and music were AMAZING. The music created a nostalgic and "longing" feeling like how the two main characters couldn't remember each other. The animation was really realistic, suitable for romantic animes. It created many beautiful scenes, like the scene where the stars split. In my view, the most iconic scene. The voice acting was also good. It conveyed the emotions of the characters really well. The plot overall was really nice. Two main characters switch places and try two find each other. If I were to criticize the movie, I feel they could have added about 10mins more of the characters socializing creating a deeper bond with the audience and making them a bit more relatable. Of course, it's just personal preference though. Overall the movie was excellent. The director of Your Name, Makoto Shinkai is amazing. He has created many other excellent movies.
