REVIEW OF ELVIS
NOW LET ME START OFF WITH A ROUND OF APPLAUSE FOR AUSTIN BUTLER AND TOM HANKS.
This movie takes you on a journey of the truth of who really was Elvis Presley. The editing and shots were so well balanced, also the colors in the shots and comparison to the year they were telling was beautifully executed. Austin Butler really embodied Elvis’ energy in this film. Watching him preform and do it basically spot on while the film also showed real clips of Elvis back then to compare was amazing. Going into this movie i didn’t know much about his life and after the movie i would definitely say that it did a wonderful and respectful job telling his story. Tom Hanks starting off the movie and becoming the narrator really made the movie that much better to start with the end. The movie in the beginning instantly hooks you and really just makes you so excited for what to happen next. Not once did i question “ugh how much longer” or start getting bored. This movie runs 2hr 39 min. Did not even feel like that long at all. I loved how they really took the time and effort to show both equal amount of not only the lows in highs with his career and life but the movie also did an amazing job with structuring current events that were happening during those times. This movie was definitely 5 stars and 10/10, i do want to watch again forsure. Love love love slayyyy🫶🏻
