Balancing the honor of tradition and coping in unprecedented times and circumstance using snark, sarcasm, and lots of verbal and situational irony. The storyline and storytelling is fresh and poignant. Characters are heartwarming with development and growth. The all star cast is STELLAR! You go through each episodes journey and lesson with team--not as a viewer, as part of the family. With each up and down, the cast effortlessly becomes their role and integrate as an ensemble. Everyone is so relatable. They're someone you know, someone you love, dislike, or are indifferent. You're able to connect and understand their point of view, what drives and motives and accept them as they are and who they are trying to become for each other. And, JOHN MALKOVICH.
