The main theme is chess. One could argue, one of the most boring games to play/watch. But boy oh boy, is this anything BUT boring! The acting was superb, the cast magnificent, the settings enchanting and the storyline just sucked me in for a 7 episode binge watch! Be advised, there are some scenes that may be unsuitable for youngsters (sex, alcohol drinking) but overall everyone can find something to take away from this series. A pure winner from Netflix!

Another supernatural thriller where the monster comes out of your digital devices. But this one was pretty ok. Kudos to the kid playing Oliver as the autistic child and also to the guy playing his dad. I think those two really carried the movie. The mom was the typical paranoid type and the kid's friends could have been more engaging. The ending was bittersweet. Overall, the movie didn't thrill me that much and there were too many "expected" jump scares but it suffices as a movie for Halloween night and/or sleepover. Just turn off your phones! 😅

I liked it! The 2 main characters played by Emilia Clarke and Henry Golding are somewhat OOC at times but likeable. As the movie progresses, you can see the depth of their characters developing and that's when the ending bites you in the butt! Watch it with a open heart and hopefully you'll walk away with a sense of gratefulness.

This film surprised me, in a good way. I read the synopsis and thought that it would be a typical teenager's cult movie. Not quite!! The beginning of the film is creepy enough and does set the pace for the remainder of the film. How it all ties up is revealed in the end so pay attention!! This deserves a second reviewing, if only to go over the parts and details you may have missed the first time. Enjoy!!

I'm a cat person but damn if this dog didn't make me fall in love with him! I saw this movie with my daughters and my husband and all of us were teary eyed by the end of it. Heartwarming, sad, frustrating at times, this movie is a great family treat. Narrated by Enzo, the beloved Golden Retriever of the family, it's a honest look at no matter what life throws at you, determination, love and courage can get you through anything. Please, ignore the negative "expert" opinions and check this movie out for yourselves. You might even be persuaded to get a dog of your own.

Still currently watching this (episode 7 so far) but I am hooked!! The storyline, the scenery, the casting, the OST... everything is just on point!! Love that it has a little bit of everything; drama, thriller, mystery, romance, friendship, tragedy. I can't speak enough about the cinematography...those views are to die for!! Once Covid is truly over and the borders are back open, I'm going to get me a ticket to go there and experience it myself. Kudos to the director, producers, actors and all the cast and crew involved in the making of this drama. A true gem!!!
