What a beautiful put together work of art, the awareness Liz brings the feeling of not knowing but still trying because you want to reach this level of “peace” or hoping to find “the answer” which most of us can relate to a similar feeling but doing the actual work externally is easier said then done especially when you don’t really know what’s going on but not giving up neither , just searching & not everyone gets the chance to do what Liz does just like her friend who cried in the beginning cus she wish she could go but unfortunately can’t due to her child and husband.. the different cultures and her experiences on everyday normal basis in Italy,India & Bali is very beautiful piece in the movie the cultural marriage in India or the pasta in Italy food and the way her friend describe how Americans entertain one self but do not enjoy themselves like the power of doing nothing like to sit there enjoy your food read a new papers because you want to not because someone else told you the way she spoke about a relationship and the dynamic of how things are with nothing but truth, the way she felt so out of luck and not in tune with herself she decides to get her 3 golden tickets and reality sets in , in each of those places. This a work of art . I love how she also remember the times with her partners how memories feel that way it’s grief but also bittersweet. Julia Robert’s did a wonderful job with her acting an absolutely amazing movie, classic.
