Sadly I wouldn't recommend this film, although I can thoroughly appreciate the performance by Austin Butler. The rest is confusing, rushed, filled with rap and pop music between dramatic scenes instead of Elvis' music. I also failed to notice this movie is 2 hours and 39 mins long. Unfortunately I was so disappointed , but it will please others, and that's good too!

Didn't read the book, don't need to. Good series, good actors, the writer of the book was exec producer also, good enough for me.

Love this movie...period. no additional elaboration needed.
