Watched The Kashmir Files movie yesterday.
Most of us feel that the narration of the gory scenes had been exaggerated by the director to arouse viewers involvement in the film once we watch those with our conditioned mindset. Most of the people belonging to mid sixties to mid nineties find it hard to believe that such things happened in India as the ideology of most that generation is somewhat skewed towards leftist. If we watch this film through those filters we can seldom appreciate the fact. The entire film is based on true narratives of the victims and the director Mr Vivek tried to present the film without attempting to spice it up. How the tender youth fall prey to brainwashing is brilliantly portrayed. No matter how much we try to highlight humanism it continues to take lot of beating. This is being seen in Russia Ukraine war. Might is right. Intelligent manipulate innocent. By and large the film is brilliantly made and Anupam Kher's acting is yet another highlight of the film. Hope Kashmiri Pandits' dream of returning to their homeland become true.
