This show was an absolutely positive surprise. Although I am not a fan of gratuitous bad language, it was effective in this case. What I thought would be a far stretch of a mediocre comedy that managed to grab the talents of an Academy Award nominated actor, the characters, every one of them was engaging, likable and different. That diversity, along with great acting is what pulled it all together. The humor was executed flawlessly, the plot and underlying relationships developed with the audience and the underlying socio-political issues of the time placed a spotlight on how these problems do not go away and are very much still with us. My wife and I were loved this program and were disappointed when the 6th episode was over. I am hoping the same cast returns in the next season and if there is not a next season I will personally boycott the network and the producers.
