Hardcore game, oldschool HARDCORE. I recommend to watch some youtube vids about game before buying. Majority of 1 star reviews are made by people, who bought game and were expecting COD playstyle game. They were blinded by their ignorance - what do you think that word Hardcore mean? Yes, It has its technical issues, cheaters, but devs are working hard to solve them. And yes its beta, its not final product, so I dont undestand people who are whinning about not getting lost items. Every few months there is wipe, and everybody starts with clean state. If it was final product, yeah well then they should care about your lost item. If you think you are hardcore player and want realism, then try this shooter. Its extremely fun. You dont need to have meta gear/weapons to kill AI or Players. What you need is understand game mechanics, ammo charts, how recoil works, know map and hot spots, know extracts, have patience to learn, learn how to shoot and when to shoot, when to flank, when to disengage and more.. If you want to go in with Guns blazing style, you can, but if you are not like Shroud, you will die a lot, like others. I die a lot, but i kill a lot. For me most enjoyable kill is from unexpected angle. You never saw it comming, you have no idea where from shot came, you died. Next time you will check you corners better. Thats Tarkov.
