The first season was better. A lot of unanswered questions and loose ends. Seems like a set-up for a third season but I won't hold my breath. Luke James needs to decompress and go on a long vacation. I'm sure this role took an emotional toll on him. I'm not about to point out every detail that didn't make sense. Why should reviewers put in more thought and effort than the writers? I will say that I'm sick of shows that act as if blacks are universally afraid of boogie men, clowns, minstrels and distorted/contorted faces and bodies. People live in a world of *ex trafficking, nukes and global warming - there are truly scarier things in the world than what is represented in this and many other black horror films.
