Hiram Correa

Watched it again after more than a decade and I can't believe how fresh and exciting this movie still feels. The visuals, the sound effects, the musical score, and the non stop action hold up after all these years. The story is pretty decent but the action and atmosphere are incredible. Above all else, the bits of dark humor and the hyper-violence will have you giggling like a maniac throughout. Arnold Schwarzenegger was pretty good but Ronny Cox and Michael Ironside made the movie with their deliciously malevolent characters. If you haven't seen this, shame on you and just watch it! You won't regret checking out this escapist classic.
