It was appreciated and accepted by people back in 2000s because people were narrow minded and it was a comical treat to the cis gender society. Live and let live!

What a movie! Though I was born in the 90s, I could totally feel the emotions felt by the Indians, the pride we all felt the insult we all had survived which led to the victory! Kabir Khan and the actors did a great job in doing that ! 80s was not as easy as it is now for the Indian cricket team! The leap of faith Kapil Dev put forward and the hard work of the whole Indian cricket team then paved the way for the position we achieved globally right now in the cricket. The casting was on point. More than a movie it felt like gazing into some important parts of 1983 world cup! It saddens me that it wasn't an economical hit when it deserves it to the core. Maybe the timing of movie's release was wrong. Nevertheless it is an success and every Cricket fan should watch it!

This is truly, a wonderful film acted amazingly by Suraj venjaarumood! His portrayal of Eldho is truly fascinating. Very well scripted and taken. Simple and very heart touching. The film is based on a true event, and it surely gives us a message about how much a person's life can be affected through a simple mistake. Suraj Venjaarumood surely deserves atleast a State award for his perfomance.
