One of my favorite movies. Seen it five times and it makes me smile, laugh and eventually cry with happiness. I am a romantic at heart and if you are also then you will thoroughly enjoy this wonderful movie.

Reminds me of my first date (encounter) with my wife of twenty years. Saw it two days ago and cannot get it out of my mind. A must for all Romantics.

I’m a romantic at heart, and this story of love for fellow man(no matter how down and out they may be) and for the women they cover, is a wonderful surprise. I never would have guessed after all these years that some of my favorite actors would outdo themselves almost thirty years ago. If you’ve never seen it ( I had not) , Please do yourself a favor and watch it. You won’t be sorry.

This movie today, 2020, is timely and ahead of its time when released. Julian Moore was excellent and deserved more recognition for her performance. Powerful stuff!

Great acting by Jack and Jane. Suspenseful right up to the climax. (loved the 2002 BMW that Jack Lemon drives). Story seems dated today, but still plausible.
