After reading everyone’s reviews, I was prepared to love this book. But I was pretty disappointed with the ending. There were too many interesting characters introduced that ultimately had very little to do with the rest of the story. I felt that it ended very abruptly and left too any questions unanswered. Overall, I enjoyed the book, but believe it would have been better if some of the other characters were more developed. The author did an amazing job setting the scene, but I felt that the ending was rushed. I would have loved to hear more about what happened with Theo’s wife, Kathy, the brother-in-law Max, Jean-Felix the friend, and even the weird cousin, Paul. There were just too many storylines left hanging for my taste.
