Lauren Brown

I'm only reading at this point to see what happens. If I read the word "smirk" one more time, I'm going to scream. It's all the characters seem to do. They smirk at each other. I'm reading all of these rave reviews and don't understand how anyone can think that this is the most basic writing ever. The queen can read people's minds. How does she not know of this plot going on from day one?
