Freida McFadden couldn’t write dialogue if her life depended on it. Her characters are shallow and unlikeable. She’s “the queen of the twist” but every twist is banal. Can it be considered a twist if everyone can smell it from 20 miles away? I have tried again and again to like her books but every one has been a letdown and this was the very last straw for me. If you like thrillers and intrigue; look elsewhere!
