The people ripping this show apart are either trolls or didn’t watch it. To me, this has been a fresh breath of air for Star Wars since “Andor”. It is not as serious as Andor is, but it seems to be fun and has a lurking mystery. I also don’t think it’s a coincidence that the trolls have come down hardest on the first Star Wars property with a black female lead. Give this show a shot and decide for yourself. If not for the story, at least check out the new alien designs and retro High Republic-era droids! My opinion might change in this show by the end of its run, but for now, I’m having fun escaping back into a galaxy far, far away.
