Interesting plot and capturing todays London issues of Housing, Immigration, and anti-terrorism neatly woven into the contempary of four families in one street.

This film is a piece of art and works on many levels, its Sam.Mendes homage to the beauty of film and cinema, the cinematography is wonderful and olivia coleman shines in an all engulfing role. An original story and as an 1980/81 period piece it is perfect. By the way I saw this in a cinema which made it all the better and appropriate to the subject.
