Season 1 was enjoyable, decently paced, and brimming with potential. Season 2 is dull, soulless, and undoes most of what season 1 had accomplished. The writing is extremely lack luster and the boring plot points are repeated every episode in a new and disappointing way. Season 2 leaves me bored and longing for a marvel that cared for exciting leads that built to a purposeful and important feeling climax. The acting is fine. The narrative fails at every turn and makes the actors jobs impossible. It’s unknown what exactly the audience is supposed to care about and the weak attempts at humor thrown out are not enough to save this show from a lackluster and utterly disappointing performance. Nothing is significant and nothing makes any real sense or moves the story along in any meaningful way. Season 2 is Loki running in place and yet moving in so many unnecessary directions.
