Show is boring and the acting, with very few exceptions, is middling to bad. Takes the realistic struggles at the heart of every American’s life and cranks them up to 11 for cheap melodrama. Just another gray, colorless, sitcom with nothing to distinguish it from the twenty other pointless time-wasters on the air. Go read a book instead.
