My favorite anime; I've lost track of how many times I've seen it. K is my comfort show, and although it's absolutely not for everyone, the characters, visuals, plot, music, animation, and story are truly special. I'd recommend the manga, which was made AFTER the show, to fully understand and appreciate the story in its entirety! This anime deserves to be up there with the greats and quite frankly, I'm surprised it's not super popular. :(

Aside from Harry Potter, "The Candymakers" has been my favorite book for nearly ten years now. I reread it once every 2 years or so, and the feeling of nostalgia overwhelms me in a positive way! I feel like I'm at home when I read this book. The plot, characters, and friendships are just so special and feel REAL and earned. It's a mystery with a satisfying conclusion. The second book is amazing as well, and I'm still hoping for a third!
