It's worth a watch, but it is not particularly original. In short it is the movie Erin Brockovich meets the TV series The Mentalist. Kind of predictable where the show is headed - unless of course you've never heard of Erin Brockovich or The Mentalist.... The setup could have been done better. The pilot was far too eager to have Morgan solve a crime that the writers didn't bother making a believable introduction of any characters or how Morgan got her first case. For example, it would have been a lot more fun and believeable to see Morgan in action and learn about her IQ and compulsions in later episodes. Also more believable if the police chief were more apprehensive of using an untrained civilian, no matter how gifted, to solve a case. As a rule I don't care for shows based on a formula, which this clearly is. Maybe the story will surprise me. I hope so.
