This is not a good game. The story is the only saving grace. But if you are looking for anything remotely related to FF in a gameplay, mechanics, exploration, or innovation it just lacking. It's not a fully realized or completed game, empty maps with no incentive to explore. Items are meaningless to find since you are rewarded them by doing poorly. Insulting auto items for an already simple combat system. Its a shame because the game is very good in the beginning and the slow realization that is never really progresses into anything fun is very angersome. I'd avoid it at all cost.
