Gloria’s Downtown Austin: This afternoon we arrived about 3:00 for lunch and drinks prior to a concert; spent well over $200. Before being picked up by Uber, we forgot to get the parking validation slip that you distribute. After the concert, we went back to the restaurant to get the parking validation slip. Spoke to two different individuals, showed them the charge on my card and described both waiters (we had 2 because we arrived before shift change) but he refused to give us the parking validation slip. All he would say was “I need proof”. Although we are solid regulars at the Domain location, I would expect the same quality of service at all locations. Having to pay an additional $33 for parking, on top of the $200+ tab leaves me furious. I will never return to this location. The individual who refused to give us the parking slip acted like we were lying, which is highly insulting. What a waste.
